Why We Do What We Do
10/20/2026

We’re not a traditional architecture firm. That’s not an accident — it’s a choice. We’re a global collective of architects, designers, and BIM specialists who come together, project by project, to get things done right. This is what we stand for, and why we work the way we do.

Good design needs the right people, not just more people. That’s why we build every team around what each project actually demands — nothing missing, nothing extra. Think of it less like a traditional firm and more like a casting director putting together the right team for the job — bringing in the specific expertise a project calls for, not a one-size-fits-all department.

Experience matters just as much. No one joins an Ensemble project without at least five years of industry experience — that’s a non-negotiable for us, whether the team is based in Argentina, Brazil, Puerto Rico, or anywhere else we work. It’s how we keep quality consistent and reliable, no matter where in the world the work is happening.

BIM is central to how we work. It’s what keeps complex projects coordinated, letting teams in different cities and time zones build together without losing accuracy or intention along the way. For us, it’s not a technical add-on — it’s the backbone that makes global collaboration actually work.

Partnerships play a role too. No single team can master every market or every specialty alone — and we don’t pretend otherwise. That’s why we partner with specialists like Tom Winter for facade design and core/shell expertise, Jeffrey Berman Architect for deep healthcare design knowledge, and Costa Group for restaurant fabrication and installation. Each one brings exactly the expertise we don’t have in-house, so every project benefits from real specialization, not guesswork.

As Blas Isaguirres, Partner & Director of Sales Global Ops, puts it: “What sets Ensemble apart comes down to how we think about work. We approach every project collaboratively, joining forces with the right partners and identifying the right professional, or team of professionals, for each challenge. What I value most about an environment like this is how flat it is. What prevails is the result: doing the best possible work, without worrying about who gets the spotlight. We do the work, we care about the work, and we care about delivering the best possible outcome for the projects. Then we get on with the next one. That means keeping the team at the center. We put real effort into working with great professionals, and we trust their judgment. Everyone at Ensemble is hardworking and committed to getting results. That’s what matters, and it’s what our clients and partners value too.”

At the core of it all is one idea: we’re better together than apart. We don’t replace teams, we strengthen them. We don’t work in isolation, we work in sync. This is what Ensemble stands for: bringing the right experts, the right technology, and the right partnerships together, so every project moves forward with clarity. Not a solo act. An ensemble.
