The Cien Fuegos project originated from an invitation from Arkham Studio to work together on this restaurant in Merida, on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Located in a shopping center, Cien Fuegos specializes in meat and is the gastronomic anchor of the venture. The typical process of grilled meats inspired this dark and striking design. The said process consists of coal, fire, combustion, alchemy, transformation, and smoke. It is a shadowed, warm, magical, and surprising place on its tour, meant to be full of textures and hold memorable moments. Every sector and every nook are endowed with unique details that constantly inspire the central and culinary idea of cooking meats and fine wines.
