Project Overview
Studying the past was the main inspiration for this space. As we prepared for the design, we studied how bread was processed in the old days and how it was delivered and enjoyed by the clientele. We also analyzed current functions for delivering and interacting with the clientele – the main furniture; the place for the oven; the library and the place for the bread counter. We looked for warmth, history, tradition, quality, and also luminosity. We had a space that was quite small, which we divided into the kitchen and the public areas.
